We all exercise every day, when we get up out of bed, walk to the car. even when we turn the steering wheel!  So why are we not all healthy?

I worked out at the gym for 27 years, it kept me alive, but I got no benefits.  As we age it’s as if our body starts to freeze up.  We have all these amazing joints that can do amazing things for us, just watch the Olympics.  Our joints need to be used every day, unfortunately as we age pain gets in the way and we take the easy way out turning to pain pills, etc. 

As an example, when I started Muscle Mass Training I worked through my pain.  When you work through your pain you can come out the other side with less or no pain. 

My Story

I was born and live in the small town of Attica NY. I’m an Online Fitness Coach trained through National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also coach soccer, wrestling, and tennis at the HS level.

I have a true passion for diet, exercise, and helping others become the best version of themselves. I started weight training when I was 10 years old and have never stopped to this day. After leaving HS I knew I wanted to pursue a career in personal training. I started training men and women in person, and really enjoyed it. After a while I

I have a true passion for diet, exercise, and helping others become the best version of themselves. I started weight training when I was 10 years old and have never stopped to this day. After leaving HS I knew I wanted to pursue a career in personal training. I started training men and women in person, and really enjoyed it. After a while I realized that I could help more people out by making the transition into online training and coaching.

I started online coaching and training in 2018 and what I’ve learned is that online training can be very convenient for the client. Simply because they are able to workout at anytime and anywhere. With in person training you have to revolve your schedule around the trainer’s schedule and location, that is not of course the case with online training. Due to the fact that you can simply open your phone and work at your convenience.

What I’ve learned from both from in person training and online training is the importance of being lean and strong. I’ve had 30-year old’s that are former college athletes and I’ve had retired 73 years old in my program. And they both have one big thing in common, and that’s the importance of being strong. A strong body represents health and longevity. Or in other words, the stronger you are the more functional you’ll be and that will lead to a long life of being healthy.

Working your body!

My surgeon who reattached my tendon in my left shoulder from a fall skiing gave me exercises and therapy to do and my shoulder healed nicely.  When I tore my front rotator cuff on my right shoulder shoveling snow my same surgeon told me he could repair it, but I would be much better off strengthening my shoulder muscles.  At that time, I added shoulder exercises to my work out but never pushed myself.

When I started my training my trainer kept adding weight to my exercises and I found myself really pushing myself to my limit.  He told me to look around and observe how many other people in the gym were pushing themselves to their limits – I noticed very few!  I was training on machines and weights in the technique for Muscle Mass Training.  I have had amazing results with this method, and it is right for me. 

To get results one needs to push to the limit, no problem you won’t break, instead you continue to improve your strength and as you do you find you can accomplish so much more than you thought possible.
